Servantix Network Monitor can run as a Windows Service under Windows

Unlimited Service Monitors
Servantix Network Monitor allows you to monitor unlimited services
per device, no matter what edition you choose.
Device and Service History
Servantix Network Monitor maintains both device and service status
history. With the easy to read device and service history charts you
can monitor the long term performance of your network and devices.
Email Notification
Servantix Network Monitor can send email and SMS via email
notifications to one or more email addresses when a device or
service fails. Notifications are also sent when a device or service
recovers.
SMS Notification
Servantix Network Monitor Standard and Professional editions can
send SMS (Short Message Service) notifications through the
Clickatell SMS service when a device or service fails. Notifications
are also sent when a device or service recovers. This feature
requires a Clickatell user account, additional fees may apply. See

Windows Messaging Notifications
Servantix Network Monitor can send notifications to a computers
desktop when a device or service fails. Notifications are also sent
when a device or service recovers.
Notification Schedules
You can schedule notifications so they are only sent during
specified times. This allows you to send notifications to different
personnel or addresses during business and non-business hours.
Integrated Web Server
Servantix Network Monitor Professional Edition includes an
integrated, light weight web server so you check the status of your
network from any web browser.
Microsoft SQL Server/MSDE Support
Servantix Network Monitor Professional Edition includes support for
Microsoft SQL Server or MSDE as the database engine. The Lite and
Standard editions utilize a local database file.
